Sacred Geometry Metatron Hexagon.

We found this good example of a Metatron Hexagon in a Church in Sussex, it is above the Pulpit.

Hexagon s were often drawn around an object or person to ward off demons and satanic powers.

The power of Sacred Geometry is the power of YHWH Creator of all things through Yeshua. Do not seek this Knowledge unless you are a true Christian.

The symbol, the Metatron’s hexagon is used sometimes in Churches for it is believed that the Hexagon radiates or increases the Spiritual power to ward of evil spirits.

The baptismal 14th century hexagonal font dates from the 14th century its strange shape and curious fins at the base has caused many witches to believe that the baptismal water in it has magical powers. So they sought to steal this water for their evil practices.

We found this Sacred Geometry Metatron in another church.

I am convinced that nothing shall be able to tear us apart from His love which is in Christ Jesus, we are able to go through anything that this life throws against us, for as it is written in Romans 8 v 37,

“In all things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.”

Always remember our Lord will never forsake us, or leave us, His love was sealed for us at Calvary. Jesus said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me yea might have peace in the world yea shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the word,” St John 16 v 33.

The Anglo-Saxon saint St. Cuthman, was a native of Cornwall some say he was born in 68o), who spent his youth as a shepherd on the Bodmin moor.
A stone high among the heather marks the spot where he used to sit, and drew a wide circle in the grass, his sheep could not wander outside of that circle. Some say he had great power from God.

His father was killed by Vikings and his mother was left crippled,
Cuthman made a wheel barrow in which he laid his mother in, and with its two handles supported by a rope round his neck, set out on his long journey to Sussex were God told him to build a Church to the glory of Christ Jesus. There at Steyning in West Sussex he built that Church.

Downland Coombes Church

Coombes Church is an 11th century Saxon church. It is famous for its mediaeval paintings from around 1040, which are among the most important in the country. Coombes also has a Saxon Church Bell, one of Sussex’s oldest.

1949 traces of mediaeval paintings were discovered

This Church at Coombes was built by the Christian Saxons well over a thousand years ago. This can be read in the doomsday book.

We found inside by the window large Saxon sword slashes. Cut into the windowsill. The Saxons used to anoint their swords inside these Churches, asking Christ’s blessing for battle. Knights Templar of Warleggan

Some say that Warleggan got its name from the Knights Templar who used the surrounding areas for training the Knights for war in the Holy Lands. The nearby Church in Temple which gets its name from the Templar’s is well documented as being owned and used by the Knights.

Warleggan Church is very small and isolated on Bodmin Moor, In 1931 the local rector Frederick Densham upset his parishioners.

He decorated the rooms of the rectory with scenes from the Bible lands and erected a barbed wire fence around the grounds to keep out unwanted visitors.

He upset local farmers by raising a litter of puppies and allowing them to run free on the moor to worry the sheep.

He painted the inside walls of the church blue red, and yellow which upset his parishioners.

His parishioners vowed never to return to the church as long as he remained there,

His sermon for Christmas day 1952 took as its theme “God is Love”, as on all other days of the year not one single person attended the service, Densham made cardboard cut outs of his congregation, and preached to these cardboard cut outs as the people refused to attend Church while he was the Rector..

Shortly after giving interviews to an American magazine about his solitary existence Frederick Densham died. It was over a week before he was missed. A week later a new rector arrived at Warleggan Church and once again the Church was filled with people.

Some believe it was the ungodly parishioners who was at fault!

We found this Church in one of the most lonely parts of the moor, some say there are ghosts haunting this Church and village, but after prayer in this Church we are now sure there will be no more problems with that kind of thing.

This ancient Norman church was the center of the evil Black Death which devastated this place.

It is said that the old village was built around this Church, but the Black Death had such a devastating effect upon this village that the villagers had no choice but to rebuild their village a mile down the road from the Church.

For the only way that they could get rid of this plague was to burn down their old wooden houses, and start afresh further away. This advice was given by the Rector of the Church after much prayer, they all agreed that this was the only answer.

The Rector then had the stonemason carve these three mystical animals on the stone that were built into the walls of the Church. The Stag which was below ground level, ( hidden in the drain), which would keep the evil rats from ever entering the Church by way of the drains. The Unicorn on the side of the Church, to ward off the evil plague from entering the doors of the Church, and the mystical bird to stop the plague from entering from roof.

Inside the Church there are two Leopards carved into the sides of the arch leading to the altar, which would ward off the disease of leprosy which was also rampant in this area at the time.

The villagers of Peasmarsh understood the power of the symbols which God had given them, which would protect them, from these evil things.

We found a picture on the wall, the words of this wonderful hymn which reminded us that the Lord made a more beautiful village for the people to live in than they ever had before. John Couch Adams Cornish Christian Astronomer who discovered planet Neptune

This summer we visited the village of Laneast, Cornwall, on Bodmin Moor, where John Couch Adams was born and brought up during his youth.

We found the village down some very narrow, windy lanes, which reminded me very much of where I spend my young life down in West Cornwall, near Redruth.

John’s early life as an Astronomer was spent in this village and surrounding countryside. He would spend hours upon hours gazing up upon the cosmos, in complete wonder and amazement at God’s mighty creation.

His Mother and Father were devout Wesleyans, and through their Christian belief knew that their son had a very special gift from God. For at a very young age, he showed considerable mathematical powers, which astonished the people of the village and his family.

The parish Church has some extraordinary symbols inside of it, no doubt influenced by John Couch Adams himself. A wooden carving in the ceiling , showing the Star of David, is very unusual, as it depicts a Star of David within a Star of David. Also some other stained glass, shows also some astrological signs. Which is also very peculiar indeed, I can show you some of these on my blog.

John Couch Adams born in Cornwall, England in 1819. Came from a farming family. His family were poor tenant farmers on Bodmin Moor at very early age he amazed everyone with his extraordinary abilities to do mathematical calculations in his head without the use of pen and paper.

Some facts.
1 At 16 years of age, John had worked out when an annular eclipse of the Sun would be visible in Lidcot, England.

2 He used only his brain to do the calculations predicting the presence of Neptune.
3 He studied the Leonid meteor shower and correctly concluded that the shower was the result of a comet passing close to Earth once a year.

4 All of the calculations were worked out in his head before he ever wrote them down.
5 His greatest discovery was the planet Neptune.

John was a shy child whose knowledge of astronomy was self taught. In his teens he had constructed his own sundial and spent time studying solar altitudes.

We visited this Church in Kent this week, the strange thing about this Church is the tower which was built beside the Church because of the soft marshy ground. The builders were afraid that if it was built on top of the Church the building would sink. Inside the Church there is evidence that the Church is beginning to sink anyway.
We found a tenth century lead baptismal font, which was very unusual because there were carvings of the star signs of the zodiac all around it. The early Christians did not have a problem with the signs of the zodiac, for they believed that God created all things and planted their crops according to the stars and the moon.

The circular lead font is said to be the most important of the 30 leaden fonts in England . It is thought to have been of Flemish origin. It has the months and the signs of the zodiac. It is said that the font was raided from a French Church during the 100 Years War .

Many tales he would tell of the strange happenings deep down under the earth’s crust, to an outsider it would be very frightening to enter these deep caverns under the earth, but the Cornish miners had great faith in their Christian belief and knew that the power of Christ would bring a far greater light to those dark places than any candle ever could. Armed with a cross in their right hand and a pick in their left, they dug out these rich minerals, and made England what it is today.

Now I encountered a power surge which caused my camera to malfunction at the top of this tor (hill), and some other spiritual happening which I will not disclose at this time, but I can assure you that it was an encounter of the highest heavenly spiritual realm, which would shatter the unbelief of the unbeliever.

Found Sheela-na-gig in Wivelsfield Church East Sussex

We came across these two figures in the porch of this Church, they were carved by the early Christians for a symbol to ward off evil. Christians in the early part of this Churches history knew exactly what they were up against, for the spirit world was not hidden from their eyes, unlike today where Christianity has become so de-spiritualized.

The first carving would remind evil spirits on entering this Church of their end, how that they would be bound and thrown into the pit of fire.

The second carving of a Sheela-ma-gig, would remind the unclean spirits of their end.
Sheela-ma-gig are frequently found on churches all over Europe and it is commonly said that they are there to keep evil spirits away They are often positioned over doors or windows, presumably to protect these openings.

Archangel Michael

The Green man was named in 1929 by Lady Raglan. The man's is surrounded by foliage, and foliage sprouting from its mouth, nose, eyes, or ears. It can sometimes also be a face entirely composed of leaves.

The Green Man, also called Jack-of-the-Green or leaf man, represents most certainly the tree angel spirit.
The green man or angel of the foliage, was put in Churches as a sign to ward off evil. Early Christians were not naive to the spiritual realm as most Christians are today.

Strange Leyline Map Ancient Knowledge

The Knights Templar made great use of this Church. Many signs of the Knights Templar can be found cut into the masonry of the Church.

This Church is quite unique, for there can be found three ley –line maps, which were used to show the Templars the way to Jerusalem.

After their prayer and communion of the Lord’s Supper, they would anoint their swords by making a downward cut on the masonry, and on their return from the Crusade, they would make an horizontal cut in the stone completing the sign of the cross.

By doing this they would be signaling Christ’s victory with the sign of the cross.

There was a settlement at the bottom of this volcanic outcrop on Dartmoor.
The inhabitants were Christians, they decided they would build a church , But the devil was was furious he waited until the church was finished and then went into action.

The following morning the villagers awoke to find that the stones of the Church were missing, downhearted but not defeated they decided that the following day they would rebuild their church.

The breaking dawn saw them rising from their homes prepared to begin the work of rebuilding there church.

As they approached the volcanic outcrop on Dartmoor. they noticed that the Devil had put there stones on the top of the outcrop
After much discussion they decided to build there Church at the top thay named the Church St. Michael the Archangel .

The devil was very angry he started to throw the stones from the top down onto the Christians
Then a bright light descended from the sky and the Archangel St. Michael appeared and confronted the Devil.

A mighty battle took place and St. Michael slung the Devil off the outcrop onto the rocks below.

Then picking up a heavy boulder he hurled it down on to the Devil, wounding the Devil, the evil one was never seen again. However the big boulder that St. Michael threw still sits below the outcrop.

This story is dated to the 12th century.

The Knights Templar and the Knights Hospitaller were known as Christian Warriors, and were known as devote worshippers of Christ. The Church of ST Michaels at Brentor would have been on their route as they travelled from Cornwall, through Dartmoor and onwards towards England.

A clue which the Templars left us was by naming their Churches, after the Archangel Michael, who is a warring Angel.

The Church on Brentor and the nearby ruin, was where the Knights would pitch their tents for the volcanic outcrop was a commanding place which could easily be defended.

For many of the locals were not Christians but evil heathens who would do all that they could to disrupt Christianity in England, and of course to disrupt the organization of the Templars who planned to free Jerusalem on their great crusades.

Recently I visited Cornwall, the land of my birth. I went to Bodmin moor, where I found the Knights Templar Church at Temple, on the moor. This Church is dedicated to St Catherine, it is said that the Knights Templar trained Cornish Knights here to fight to free Jerusalem on the first Crusade and a refuge for pilgrims and travellers, en route to the Holy Land, in the 12th century.

When I visited Temple, we found that it was a very peaceful place, although some strange things happened to our car and camera during our visit. It is said that the Knights Templar were also the protectors of the ancient Holy power which existed in that area, and that this Church was built here as a beacon of Christ’s Power over all powers on earth.

The land of Cornwall is known in the Cornish language as the land of Kernow. Although now it is part of England, it is still very distinct from the rest of the mainland.

The Temple Church is dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria and was founded by the Knights Templar in the Twelfth century and is located on the remote moorland of Bodmin Moor Cornwall.

This church of St. Catherine,is sited on their ancient abbey settlement, was finally suppressed in 1312 and taken over by the Knights Hospitallers.

What got me thinking about the pyramid as the altar of the Lord was when I discovered in the loft space of a thousand year old English Church, a Knights Templar shield. The Knights Templar St Marys Church Fordingbridge Hampshire Found Knights Sharpening Sword Stone.

This was one of our very unique discoveries. On the outside of the Church built into it’s very wall, we found the tomb of a master Knight. Above the tomb, there is a stone where deep sword marks were cut into it.

The Knights had great respect for their leaders, and thus they would line up and anoint their swords by sharpening them on the stone, which was above the master Knight.

We also discovered that there are records of the Knights presence in Fordingbridge recorded in the Vatican in Rome.

Also we found in this ancient Church, high up in the roof space the carved head of John the Baptist. This too gave us the clue that they were there, because John the Baptist is the patron saint of the Knights Templar and the Knights Hospitaller.

Knights Templar Shield Designs Found In St. Johns Church Boldre Carved In Wood Bosses In Roof Space.

Our quest has brought us to the New Forest in Hampshire.

We found evidence of the Knights Templar here. At first their was very little to see, but on close examination of the roof space we saw nineteen designs of shields carved as bosses .

The Knights Templar used these designs to show their particular regiment. One had the St Georges cross, which was the most popular symbol which they would paint on their shields, others used pictures of saints, and other mystical creatures with their tongues hanging out to frighten the enemy in battle.

On closer examination of these bosses you can see the Maltese cross behind every design. Much of the church has been desecrated, when Cromwell’s henchmen chiseled off the stone work, but the roof was too high, and too dark, thus the shields remain to this very day. We owe a lot to these brave Crusaders, who preached the gospel and gave their lives for Christendom.

This Church was built in 1087, at the time of the first crusades.

Holy Water and St. Teresa of Avila

On entering an Anglican Church in Hampshire recently, I saw a place by the door where Christians would pray and cross themselves with Holy Water, for protection against evil. I thought to myself, Yes, the Anglican and Catholic Churches knew the power in this simple , yet powerful practice, which frightens the devil and his demons.

Christians in the early Church were told about this power to rid evil from their houses and Churches.

In these early days some believed that this secret of using Holy Water which was blessed during Communion by Christians , was suppressed by the established Church of that day, So that the Pastors and Priests could yield power over their congregations if the people were ignorant to the fact that all Christians were able to bless the Water themselves without a Priest or Pastor.

Now this knowledge is known by many Christians and they are beginning to use Holy water which they themselves are praying over when they partake of the bread and the wine in their own homes with their own families, not relying on a Pastor or a Priest, for they know the scripture in the Bible that tells them that they are a royal priesthood a Holy nation.

When dangers threaten. The devil hates holy water because of its power over him. He cannot long abide in a place or near a person that is often sprinkled with this blessed water.

St. Teresa of Avila wrote: “From long experience I have learned that there is nothing like holy water to put devils to flight and prevent them from coming back again.

They also flee from the cross, but return; so holy water must have great value. For my own part, whenever I take it, my soul feels a particular and most notable consolation.

In fact, it is quite usual for me to be conscious of a refreshment which I cannot possibly describe, resembling an inward joy which comforts my whole soul.

This is not fancy, or something which has happened to me only once it has happened again and again and I have observed it attentively. It is let us say, as if someone very hot and thirsty were to drink from a jug of cold water: he would feel the refreshment throughout his body.

I often reflect on the great importance of everything ordained by the Church and it makes me very happy to find that those words of the Church are so powerful that they impart their power to the water and make it so very different from water which has not been blessed.”

“One night, too, about this time, I thought the devils were stifling me; and when the nuns had sprinkled a great deal of holy water about I saw a huge crowd of them running away as quickly as though they were about to fling themselves down a steep place.”

“I will only describe something that happened to me one night of All Souls. I was in an oratory: I had said one nocturn and was repeating some very devotional prayers which follow it — they are extremely devotional:

we have them in our office-book — when actually the devil himself alighted on the book, to prevent me from finishing the prayer. I made the sign of the Cross and he went away.

I then began again and he came back. I think I began that prayer three times and not until I had sprinkled some holy water on him could I finish it.

Keep your soul beautifully pure in God’s sight by making the Sign of the Cross carefully while saying, “By this holy water and by Thy Precious Blood wash away all my sins, O Lord.”

Knights of St John West Parley

The Knights of St John used this church, now called All Saints West Parley, Dorset as one of their staging posts before embarking on their crusades to Jerusalem from Poole quay. Here they would gather to worship Christ and receive His blessing.

On the doorpost of the Church is where they would anoint their swords by sharpening them on the stones.

They left other signs behind them of their presence here, by the three foot cross that is outside the Church, leaning against the porch.

Also carvings of one of their favorite saints St. Catherine, a wooden wheel carved in wood, and a sword striking the wheel, representing the Word of God, which freed Catherine when she was tied to the wheel to be martyred.

Although not a lot is now left of the Knights existence, yet there is still enough to tell us that they have been here, and remind us of their great bravery and loyalty to Jesus Christ. For without their great sacrifice, Christianity would not be as wide spread as it is today.

A carvings of one of their favorite saints St. Catherine, a wooden wheel carved in wood, and a sword striking the wheel, representing the Word of God, which freed Catherine when she was tied to the wheel to be martyred.

Catherine of Alexandria was a Christian martyr initially sentenced to death on the wheel. When she was fastened to the wheel, she cried out to Jesus and her bonds were miraculously loosed and the wheel itself broke, its spikes flying off and killing some of the onlookers. She was then beheaded, angels took her remains to Mount Sinai. Around the year 800, monks from the Sinai Monastery found her remains.

"O Jesus, your Lamb Katherine cries out to You with great love: ÔO my Bridegroom, I long for You in great pain, I am crucified with You, and in baptism I am buried with You. I suffer for Your sake in order to reign with You, I die for You in order to live in You. Accept me as an immaculate victim, since I am immolated for Your love'.

The Monastery of Mt. Sinai was erected by Justinian I in 549 where tradition says is the site of the burning bush of Moses. Justinian built a castle around the monastery in 530, for the protection of the monks of the vicinity.

The one mountain peak of Mt. Sinai is 5,014 feet above sea level, and is surrounded by massive granite walls. It is, as it were, a fortress. Many devout Christians from many countries, before and after the Crusades visit there.

Knights of St. Catherine.

The Knights of St. Catherine were protectors of the Monastery on Mount Sinai, said to be the oldest in the world.

The Order was like the Hospitallers or Templars. There mission was to protect pilgrims in their journey across the lands controlled by the enemy.

They guarded the Monastery and its caravan-lines in the Crusader period, and were vaguely associated with the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, into which the Palestine branch of the Knights of St. Catherine was eventually absorbed.

An active order of Greek Orthodox monks still lives at Mount Sinai, under the Archbishop of Sinai, who maintain the world's second largest collection of manuscripts, icons and reliquaries.

Martin of Tours a Roman soldier.

(Was born about the year 316 of pagan parents in Sabaria. His father was an officer in the Roman army_.

Martin experienced the vision that became the most-repeated story about his life. He was at the gates of the city of Amiens with his soldiers when he met a scantily dressed beggar.

He took off his warm cloak and, using his gleaming sword, sliced it in two. He gave half to the beggar.

That night he dreamed of Jesus wearing the half-cloak which he had given away. He heard Jesus say to the angels: "Here is Martin, the Roman soldier who is not baptised ; he has clad me."

Martin was interested in Christianity and tried to find out about it. Its message attracted him, and he started to obey some of its precepts. He earned himself some notoriety by refusing to join in some of the bawdier songs and more outlandish activities of military life.

He gave freely to the poor, was kind to his servants, and liked to pray. But he postponed the actual step of Christian baptism. His first posting was to Rheims, and from there he was sent to Amiens.

Martin had a a dream vision, he saw a figure surrounded with shining glory Christ Himself, still wearing the half of Martin's cloak.

Our Lord reminded Martin of His words in the Gospel: "I was naked and you clothed me ... in as much as you did it to the least of the little ones, you did it to Me".

Martin got himself baptized as a Christian, and when his term of duty was up, he left the army and decided to serve Jesus by helping Christians.

Martin's preaching resulted in the decline of paganism in that part of Gaul. He destroyed temples and felled trees which the heathen held sacred.

Once when he had demolished a certain temple, he proceeded to the cutting down of a pine tree that stood near. The chief priest and other pagans there offered to cut it down themselves, on condition that he who trusted so strongly in his Christ Jesus would stand under it.

Martin agreed and allowed himself to be tied and placed on the side towards which the tree was leaning. Just as it seemed about to fall on him, he made the sign of the cross, at which the tree fell in the other direction.

St. Christopher

The Crusader Knights Templar and Hospitaller Knights brought back these testimonies of the saints to England during their Crusades. I found this Christian wall painting on my Holy Quest around Englands Churches, this church was a thousand years old, and was visited by the Knights Templar as most of the churches in England were, some have suggested that these paintings were done by them.

According ancient Christian writings Christopher was a Canaanite 12 cubits (18 ft) tall and with a fearsome face.

Christopher the Canaanite took it into his head to go and serve the greatest king there was. the king of Canaan,
He went to the king who was reputed to be the greatest, but one day he saw the king cross himself at the mention of the devil.

On thus learning that the king feared the devil, he departed to look for the devil. He came across a band of men, one of whom declared himself to be the devil, so Christopher decided to serve him.

But when he saw this devil avoid a cross by the road and saw the fear on the devil face at Christ’s cross , he left him and enquired from people where to find Christ. He met a man who instructed him in the Christian faith.

Christopher asked him how he could serve Christ. When the man suggested fasting and prayer, Christopher replied that he was unable to perform that service. (Christopher did not like organized religion.)

The man then suggested that because of his size and strength Christopher could serve Christ by assisting people to cross a dangerous river, where many were perishing in the attempt. The man promised that this service would be pleasing to Christ.

After Christopher had performed this service for some time, a little child asked him to take him across the river. During the crossing, the river became swollen and the child seemed as heavy as lead, so much that Christopher could scarcely carry him and found himself in great difficulty.

When he finally reached the other side, he said to the child: "You have put me in the greatest danger. I do not think the whole world could have been as heavy on my shoulders as you were." The child replied: "You had on your shoulders not only the whole world but him who made it. I am Christ your king, whom you are serving by this work." The child then vanished.

Christopher later visited the city of Lycia and there comforted the Christians who were being martyred. Christopher was brought before the king, Christopher refused to sacrifice to the pagan gods.

The king tried to win him by riches and by sending two beautiful women to tempt him. Christopher converted the women to Christianity, as he had already converted thousands in the city. The king ordered him to be killed. Various attempts failed, but finally Christopher was martyred by being decapitated.

This testimony of St Christopher was brought back by the Knights Templars to England from the crusades. Christopher’s testimony has been added to and corrupted over the centuries, but this simple testimony continues to be a blessing to many, for it points people to Jesus Christ.

Hospitallers - History of the Order of St John
The Military Orders - Fighting for the Faith and Caring for the Sick in the name of JESUS

On our quest around Englands churches we came across the Knights Hospitallers headquarters in Hampshire.

We found evidence of their existence there and the surrounding churches, it was here that they made their plans, to free Jerusalem from the evil heathen enemy.

They had a very close relationship with the Knights Templars, who they would meet being ready to embark from nearby Southampton on their crusades to the Holy Land.

When entering the church not many people notice on the right had door post there is an outline of a hand. This is said to be the "Hand of God" some say it was caved by the Knights of St. John it was customary for parishioners to put their hands on the imprint.

The old village lies to the north, and the manor house incorporates part of the Preceptory of the Knights Hospitallers, which was the Hampshire headquarters of the Order after 1365. Reminders of this are found in the local place-names of Zionshill and Knightwood.

The parish church is also of mediaeval foundation, and is dedicated to St. John the Baptist, the patron saint of the Knights Hospitallers.

We found evidence of a Knights tomb decorated with the Maltese cross, and also ancient stained glass windows, depicting the Knights symbols, and also nearby churches carried the Maltese cross painted inside on the walls of the church.

The Knights Hospitallers were a medieval order dedicated to fighting for the faith of Christ and protection of pilgrims, and tending the sick and infirm,
The Knights were in Baddesley for about 400 years until 1541.

Following the Dissolution of the Monasteries they were at odds with Henry VIII, and were suppressed by Rome.

INRI “Jesus Nazarene, King of the Jews.”

I found these letters INRI at the top of these emblems of the crucifixion, which depicts the cruel empty cross.

The spear which pierced His side, and the sponge on the end of a rod, which touched His precious lips, when He cried, “ I THIRST.” And the vicious thorny crown which pierced His precious head, which poured out His blood which cleanses us from our sins.

INRI is an acronym of the Latin phrase
IESVS•NAZARENVS•REX•IVDÆORVM (Jesus Nazarenus, rex Judæorum),
which translates to English as "Jesus Nazarene, King of the Jews."
In the Gospel of John (19:19-20), the inscription is explained:
And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.

Knights of St John's gun and carriage

The Hospitaller Knights of St John Who Were Based In Malta.

This gun and carriage which weighs five and three quarter tones was made by the Knights of Malta. It is richly decorated with images from the Bible. It was brought to England around eighteen hundred, and it can be found in the Tower of London.

The age of the gun is not known, but it is thought to have been made before 1607.

The Bible scene on the side of the carriage depicts St Paul the Apostle when he was shipwrecked on the island of Malta. Where the barbarous people showed him kindness, for they kindled a fire because it was raining and cold.

When Paul gathered a bundle of sticks, he laid them on the fire, then a snake bit his hand, and fastened it’s mouth tightly onto him. When the barbarous people saw the venomous snake bite his hand, they thought that Paul would surely die. Paul just shook the snake off into the fire, and felt no harm.

Hubert's vision

Hubert was a Christian young man, his wife died giving birth to their son, and Hubert retreated from society, withdrew into the forests of Ardennes, where he gave himself up entirely to hunting.

It is said that on Good Friday morning, when the faithful were crowding the churches, Hubert went hunting .

As he was pursuing a magnificent Stag, the animal turned and, he was astounded at perceiving a crucifix standing between its antlers, while he heard a voice saying: "Hubert, unless thou turnest to the Lord Jesus, and leadest an holy life, thou shalt quickly go down into hell".

Hubert dismounted, prostrated himself and said, "Lord, what wouldst Thou have me do?" He received the answer, "Go and feed the poor” and so he went and distributed all his personal wealth among the poor.

His testimony has been corrupted and added to over the centuries. The truth of his story is a very simple one, how he accepted Christ and served Him faithfully by his works of charity, and of course his vision .

Face of John the Baptist painted on door by Knights Templar
On my quest around Englands churches, recently I came across the church at Templecombe, where I found this four foot painting of the face of John the Baptist . It is believed by some that the Knights Templar painted it. It was hidden in the roof of an outhouse, during the second world war when some plaster fell from the ceiling, revealing this painting.
Also around the surrounding villages, I came across in the churches signs of the Templars. Templar crosses, roses and very strange splash crosses which were engraved into the church walls. It is said that the ministers would splash consecrated water on the building to ward off evil spirits.
It seems that everywhere that we look we find evidence of these Christian Crusaders, who visited and worshipped in these Churches long ago.

Inside and out, there are consecrated crosses cut into the masonry. During the Middle Ages, it was common to incise twenty-four into a church, three on each internal wall and twelve outside. The bishop who consecrated the building would anoint each one with the words 'Sanctifecetur hoc templum' (blessed be this church). This was a visible sign of dedication and a defence against the powers of the Devil. In this case, the fact that there are both internal and external examples indicate that it was done according to the English Rite and not that of Rome, which only required consecration on the inside.

Of particular note are the consecration or 'splash' crosses, which can be found both inside and outside the church. These indicate the position where Holy water splashed against the structure during the consecration ceremony.

This Saxon stone font carvings needs interpreting!

The Hospitallers of St John of Jerusalem. A religious military order which arose out of the crusades to the Holy Land.

Which included, Knights, Clergy and Brothers.

The settlement of some of the Brothers and Knights was the farmhouse west of this church in Dorset England.

The thatched barn nearby has carvings of a boy playing the bagpipes, and a chained monkey holding a mirror which is between the twinned chimneys of the farmhouse, and more carvings can be found around this farm.

This is a tiny church building standing in its own grave yard, beside a sixteenth century farmhouse.

The Knights of St John of Jerusalem owned this property in medieval times, there is little to be found of the Knights now, but a few things can be found , if you look for them, in Dorset and throughout the country.

Crusaders Knights Templar. Christian Knights.

This picture is found in the Knights Templar church in the south of England. It tells a testimony of how the Christian Crusaders were recruited by God to fight to free Jerusalem.

We see in the top right hand corner of this picture, the heavenly Jerusalem with angels coming down to enlist peasant farmers from throughout Europe , making them mighty fighting Crusader Knights.

They are being prepared for a special army that God would use to free Jerusalem from the heathen enemy who held God’s people the Jews captive.

All over England and Europe, these poor peasant farmers were turned into the fearsome fighting warriors, the likes of which the world has never seen before, who would be assembled from all the Christian lands.

This battle of Christendom continues today, onwards Christian soldiers, marching on to war, with the cross of Jesus going on before.

West Knighting Church Dorset

The wall painting which is visible above the level of the Church roof timbers depicts a circular painting known locally as the Crusaders shield.

It shows a pyramid surrounded by sun burst of rays, and within is written in Hebrew, the name translate as YHWH, and translated into English as "Jehovah.

It is believed to have been painted by the Knights of Saint John, who worshipped at this church at the time of the Crusades. The Knights of Saint John church can be found in the county of Dorset England.

This circular painting of a Crusaders shield was discovered in the 19th century by candlelight, by a man when he crawled into the roof to examine roof timbers.

It became completely revealed when the ceiling was removed in 1927 during a complete renovation. If it wasn’t concealed in those early days it would have surely been destroyed by the Puritans.

Agnes a Christian Roman girl

Born c. 291 and raised in a Christian family.

Agnes a Christian Roman girl who was only thirteen years old when she was martyred for her faith.

Her love for the Lord was very great and she hated sin even more than death! Since she was very beautiful, many young men wished to marry Agnes.

A pagan young man became very angry when she refused him. He had tried to win her for his wife with rich gifts and promises, but the beautiful young girl kept saying, "I am already promised to the Lord Jesus, He is more lovely than the whole world and He has said He will never leave me!" In great anger, the young man accused her of being a Christian and brought her to his father, the Governor.

The Governor promised Agnes that she would live if she would only deny Jesus, but Agnes refused. He tried to change her mind by putting her in chains, but her lovely face shone with joy.

Then Governor had her striped naked and dragged through the streets to a brothel. As she prayed, her hair grew and covered her body.

It was also said that all of the men who attempted to rape her were immediately struck blind.

When led out to die she was tied to a stake, but the bundle of wood would not burn, whereupon the officer in charge of the troops drew his sword and beheaded her.

If her name represented her appearance, Dorcas in the Greek, signifies graceful, beautiful. But this woman was famed for a grace and a beauty entirely separate and distinct from whatever she possessed of these qualities naturally.

Hers was the beauty of a meek and quiet spirit, full of love and helpfulness. Evidently she was a burning and shining light for the Lord Jesus in that vicinity.
She did what she could. She served the Lord, His brethren and all who needed help.
(Acts 9:36-42)

Now in Joppa there was a disciple whose name was Tabitha, which in Greek is Dorcas. She was devoted to good works and acts of charity. At that time she became ill and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in a room upstairs.

Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, who heard that Peter was there, sent two men to him with the request, "Please come to us without delay." So Peter got up and went with them; and when he arrived, they took him to the room upstairs.

All the widows stood beside him, weeping and showing tunics and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was with them. Peter put all of them outside, and then he knelt down and prayed. He turned to the body and said, "Tabitha, get up."

Then she opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up. He gave her his hand and helped her up. Then calling the saints and widows, he showed her to be alive. This became known throughout Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.

Dorothea a Christian Virgin

Dorothea a Virgin and martyr, suffered during the persecution at Caesarea in Cappadocia.
It is written that Dorothea's parents were martyred before her by a Roman governor, he called her to an audience and demanded that she take a husband.

When she refused, he had her put upon the rack and given a choice of a husband, if she would sacrifice to the gods, or death, if she refused.

She claimed that she had a husband in Jesus Christ, he put her in a cell with two women who had abandoned Christianity, hoping that they would convince her, but, instead, she brought them back to religious faith.

When she was again put on the rack, she smiled and said that she was truly blessed in Jesus. She was sentenced to death, after further tribulation.
Her martyrdom occurred in February, and as she was being led to her beheading, a pagan lawyer mocked her, asking her to send him apples or roses from her husband Christ’s garden.

Upon her binding for decapitation, Dorothea saw a young girl with a basket of roses and apples and asked her to take them to pagan lawyer as a gift.
The child was an angel, and when pagan lawyer saw her bringing him roses and apples after Dorothea's martyrdom, he converted to Christianity and was later martyred himself.

Mary Magdalen

Mary Magdalene appears in all of the Gospel accounts of the events surrounding the Ressurection. Because Mary reported the good news of the Ressurection to the disciples.
Mary Magdalen is often represented as a Christian woman , with flowing hair, and holding her ointment-pot.
After the Resurrection, Jesus' followers, Philip, Lazarus, Mary Magdalen, Joseph of Arimathea were put to sea in a rudderless ship to be left to drown - but the ship came to land at Marseilles Mary Magdalen became a missionary preacher while Joseph sailed further to Britain, Mary is said to have stayed in France.

Mary Magdalene and The Miracle of the Red Egg

A biblical Christian testimony concerning Mary Magdalene says that she was a woman of social status and wealth. Following Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, she used her position to gain an invitation to a banquet given by Emperor Tiberius Caesar.

When she met him, she held a plain white egg in her hand and exclaimed "Christ is risen!" Caesar laughed, and said that Christ rising from the dead was as likely as the egg in her hand turning red.

Before he finished speaking, the egg in her hand indeed turned bright red, and she cried "Christ is risen, for Jesus has burst forth from the tomb”. And she continued proclaiming the Gospel to the entire imperial house. This miracle turned many of them to Christ at that time.

Today, many Eastern Orthodox Christians end the Easter service by sharing bright red eggs and proclaiming to each other, "Christ is risen!" The eggs represent new life, and Christ bursting forth from the tomb. This began the tradition of coloring Easter eggs.

"For over a thousand years Cecilia has been one of the most greatly venerated of the maiden martyrs of the early Church

She vowed her virginity to God, but her parents married her to Valerian of Trastevere. Cecilia told her new husband that she was accompanied by an angel, but in order to see it, he must be purified.

He agreed to the purification, and was baptised; returning from the ceremony, he found her in prayer accompanied by a praying angel.
The angel placed a crown on each of their heads, and offered Valerian a favor; the new convert asked that his brother be baptised.

Her husband and his brother developed a ministry of giving proper burial to martyred Christians. In their turn they were arrested and martyred for their faith.
Cecilia buried them at her villa on the Apprian Way, and was arrested for the action. She was ordered to sacrifice to false gods; when she refused, she was martyred in her turn.

Cecilia was often heard singing with all her heart a hymn of love for Jesus. It was this phrase that led to her association with music, singers, musicians, etc.
She was martyred in 117.

The evil officials attempted to kill her by locking her in an overheated sweat-house. However, the attempt failed, and she was to be beheaded. The executioner attempted to decapitate her three times unsuccessfully, at which time he fled.
Cecilia survived another three days before succumbing.

Catherine of Alexandria.

She was the well educated daughter of aristocratic, pagan parents in Alexandria in the 4th century AD.

Converted to Christianity by a hermit, she dreamt she was the bride of Christ and woke up with His ring on her finger.She protested against the persecution of Christians under the pagan Emperor Maximinus. The Emperor sent some philosophers to argue with her: she converted them.

He sent a Centurion: she converted him. Finally the Emperor offered her marriage, she refused him. She was condemned to be broken on the wheel (hence the modern 'Catherine wheel' firework): it was the wheel that miraculously broke.

She was then beheaded and she bled milk. She was carried to heaven by angels, It is written that some pieces of the wheel broke off and killed a large numbers of her pagan persecutors. She was an enemy to political extremism and religious oppression. She was one of the most popular Saints in the Middle Ages.

Veronica a woman of Jerusalem who wiped the face of Jesus with a veil while he was on the way to Calvary.
It is written that, the cloth was imprinted with the image of Christ's face. Veronica became one of the most popular woman Christians of her time.
Veronica took the veil from the Holy Land, and used it to cure a man of an illness.
Old Christian writings say in the Acts of Pilate, identify her with the woman mentioned in the Gospel of Matthew who suffered from an issue of blood.
She is remembered by her acts of charity.

Her symbol is the veil bearing the face of Christ and the Crown of Thorns.

This testimony of Veronica reminds me of the Miracles wich Jesus did through Paul: Bible Acts 19:12 (KJ)
So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

The stained glass window depicts St. John holding a chalice and out of the chalice is rising an unmistakable snake! Its position is such that it looks as if the snake has just bitten or will bite St. John's hand.
This commemorates the testimony that once, while at Ephesus, John was given a cup of poisoned wine to drink. Before drinking, he blessed the cup and the poison departed the cup in the form of a serpent.

STRANGE Things Found in Churches

Above St George Church West Grinstead West Sussex.
On my quest around England’s churches, I came across this wall painting in this thousand year old church, with it’s medieval porch, as it’s enterence to this ancient Saxon church.
There is great debate as to what this picture means, some think that it is Saint Christopher carrying the infant Christ across the river, but more than likely it tells the gospel story of how Christ’s message is taken to the whole world.

Is Saint George and Archangel Michael, one and the same ?

“Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Hebrews 13: 1.2

St. George is the patron saint of England.

His emblem, a red cross on a white background, is the flag of England.

St George’s emblem was adopted by Richard The Lion Heart and brought to England in the 12th century. The king’s soldiers wore it on their tunics to avoid confusion in battle.

St. George the Dragonslayer”

St. George is believed to have been born in Eastern Turkey in the year A.D. 270. He was a Christian.

At the age of seventeen he joined the Roman army and soon became renowned for his bravery.

He served under a pagan Emperor but never forgot his Christian faith.

The Emperor gave him many important missions, and on one of these he came to England.

It was while he was in England that he heard the Emperor was putting all Christians to death and so he returned to Rome to help his brother Christians.

He pleaded with the Emperor to spare their lives. But the Emperor did all he could to persuade St. George to give up his faith, but he refused and was finally beheaded on 23 April, 303.

On which day we the people of England now celebrate as St Georges day.

“Because he was the only knight to pass the toughest test. He was able to grasp the Holy Grail in his very hands.” “The grail is the chalice, the cup that Jesus blessed at the Last Supper”. Galahad was the only one of all the great knights who was so pure of heart, he was able to find the lost grail…” has we are told.

THE HOLY GRAIL AND JOSEPH OF ARIMATHEA

"THE HOLY GRAIL", Joseph of Arimathea is the first person mentioned in history to have possession of the object called "The Holy Grail", after its use by Jesus at the "Last Supper".

The word "Grail" derives from the Latin "gradalis" that means "cup" or "chalice".
The Holy Grail was the cup or chalice that Jesus used at the "Last Supper" with which He instituted the sacrament of the "bread and wine" (Lk. 22:20),

The Holy Grail supposedly contained some of Jesus' Holy Blood collected by Joseph of Arimathea, which was spilled at the cross, the Holy Blood, could not decay,
Joseph of Arimathea is the first person mentioned in Christian literature to have possession of "The Holy Grail", after its use by Jesus at the "Last Supper".
The story of Joseph of Arimathea is told in the "Cronica sive Historia de Rebus Glastoniensibus" (1342), by John of Glastonbury, a Christian writer.

Joseph of Arimathea was wealthy Jewish merchant who travelled all over the Roman Empire, and, according to Christian writings, he did business in Britain.
Christian writings says that Joseph of Arimathea, called "The Virgin" Mary’s uncle, came to Britain as the leader of a party of Christian missionaries, at the time of the first persecution of the Jerusalem Church in AD 35/36; and brought with him to Britain some holy relics, which included the Holy Grail.

The "De Origine Ecclesiae Britannicae" written about AD 200 by Elvanus of Avalonius, the 2nd Arch-Bishop of London says that Christianity was introduced into Britain by Joseph of Arimathea in AD 36.

It is said upon coming to Britain that Joseph of Arimathea and his followers, weary, having walked up Wearyall Hill at Glastonbury, Somerset, drove his staff into the ground to lean and rest upon, and that the staff took miraculous root and grew into a tree, called "The Holy Thorn", which still today blossoms every Christmas.
The first church in the British Isles was built by Joseph of Arimathea and his party at Glastonbury, England, on the site of the old pagan temple.

Many Britons were converted to Christianity by Joseph of Arimathea and his followers.
St. Peter traditionally came to Britain in AD62 and built a chapel on the future site of Westminster Abbey in London, which is still traditionally called St. Peter‘s Chapel after him.

The next year, AD 63, St. Paul, the Apostle, between his two imprisonments, came himself to Britain, on a missionary tour, and built Old St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

On 15 July 1099 Jerusalem fell to the Crusaders after a five week siege and the victors proceeded to take the city. After 460 years of enemy rule, the Crusaders restored Jerusalem to Christian hands, and declared the city the capital of the Kingdom of Jerusalem.

The city’s populations underwent a significant change, has Christian Western culture now took center-stage, and Latin the language of prayer was heard again in Jerusalem.

Under the Crusaders Jerusalem once more assumed a Christian character, they renewed Christian traditions and rebuilt churches.

To the south was the quarter occupied by the Hospitalers (warrior knights who initially undertook to protect and guide pilgrims, and to lodge them in their vast Jerusalem hospice, and eventually became part of the Kingdom’s defenses).

The holy sites on the Temple Mount were declared Christian. The Temple Mount was the seat of the Templars, an order of monastic knights whose names derived from their location.

The Knights Templar were founded before 1125 to defend Jerusalem and the Knights Hospitallers (also called the Knights of St John, in 1144 came to aid and protect Christian pilgrims, who were travelling to Jerusalem.

Men returning from the Crusades in the eleventh century brought news of young virgin called Margaret of Antioch, a young Christian martyr.
She was a poor girl, living under Pagan rule, which put her Christian faith severely to the test.
Because of her faith she was imprisoned and, the story tells, in her dark dungeon the devil appeared to her in the guise of a terrible dragon, but by her faith in Jesus she faced him, he was overcome. Steadfast to the end, she was finally put to death for her Christian beliefs.According to the ancient writings she was a native of Antioch,
Her father was an unbeliever. Her mother died when Margaret was an infant, and the child was raised by a Christian woman. She lived in the country keeping sheep.

A Roman soldier saw the beautiful young woman tending sheep, and tried to get her into his bed. When she refused, he denounced her as a Christian and she was brought to trial. When she refused to sacrifice to the pagan gods, the authorities tried to burn her, then boil her in a large cauldron; each time her prayers kept her unharmed. She was finally martyred by beheading.
Part of her story involves her meeting the devil in the form of a dragon, and how her faith in Jesus gave her the victory over him.
She was put to death in AD. 304 Margaret testimony is very widespread in England with more than 250 churches are dedicated to her.
It is said a very powerful blessing is promised to those who wrote or read her life.
Margaret of Antioch was one of the most popular Christian saints among the laity in medieval England, primarily because of her association with childbirth.
Margaret is also one of the most common subjects for wall paintings in England; some churches have her entire life - as many as twenty scenes - adorning their walls.
Margaret of Antioch was a good Christian girl who had a very strong testimony, but many people have change her words over the centuries, but her true testimony is being told once again.

She was banned by the Pope Gelasius in 494, who decided to hid her writings, but devotion to her revived in the West with the Crusades, and many true Christians still celebrate her devotion to Jesus Christ at festivals in English Anglican Churches on July 20.

Some readings say Margaret of Antioch was a Christian virgin whose tortures and martyrdom became famous in early books of Acts.
Her persecutors tried to kill her by fire and by drowning, but each time she survived, converting the growing crowd of onlookers. Finally, she was beheaded, along with her many converts, by Emperor Diocletian. She was buried at Antioch.
God moves in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform

The ordeals she suffered are of the most fabulous description, including being swallowed by Satan in the form of a dragon. Through her prayers she was released only later to be beheaded. This is why her emblem is traditionally in the form of a cross piercing the mouth of a dragon.
It is written that Margaret was granted a crown, a sight which leads 5,000 pagans to convert.

THE FIRST EPISTLE OF
CLEMENT TO THE CORINTHIANS.
CHAPTER 25 -- THE PHOENIX AN EMBLEM OF OUR RESURRECTION.
Let us consider that wonderful sign [of the resurrection] which takes place in Eastern lands, that is, in Arabia and the countries round about. There is a certain bird which is called a phoenix.

This is the only one of its kind, and lives five hundred years. And when the time of its dissolution draws near that it must die, it builds itself a nest of frankincense, and myrrh, and other spices, into which, when the time is fulfilled, it enters and dies.

But as the flesh decays a certain kind of worm is produced, which, being nourished by the juices of the dead bird, brings forth feathers.

Then, when it has acquired strength, it takes up that nest in which are the bones of its parent, and bearing these it passes from the land of Arabia into Egypt, to the city called Heliopolis.

And, in open day, flying in the sight of all men, it places them on the altar of the sun, and having done this, hastens back to its former abode.

The priests then inspect the registers of the dates, and find that it has returned exactly as the five hundredth year was completed.

(Clement was a disciple of Peter, and afterwards Bishop of Rome.

Clemens Alexandrinus calls him an apostle. Jerome says he was an apostolic man, and Rafinus that he was almost an apostle.

Eusebius calls this the wonderful Epistle of St. Clement, and says that it was publicly read in the assemblies of the primitive church. It is included in one of the ancient collections of the Canon Scripture.

All these photos were taken in English Anglican churches. I still think that these birds in churches look very strange.

St. Clement's Anchor

St. Clement was the Bishop of Rome from about 85-96 AD. After a life of steadfast witness to the Truth of the Gospel, much of which is included in his first Epistle to the Corinthians, St. Clement was arrested and exiled by the government in 95AD.

Even in the prison camp, he continued his ministry has a Christian, resulting in his martyrdom. He was tied to an anchor, and thrown into the Black Sea. His victorious death is celebrated every November 23rd, "St. Clement's Day".

Above this High Altar of the Church of St Michael and All Angels in the Highlands of Scotland,
there is a magnificent picture of a phoenix like bird, it resembles the phoenix in the Testament of 3 Baruch Holy scriptures written in 130 AD by Christians.

The phoenix, a mythical creature who bursts into flames at death but rises again from its own ashes, was used by the early Christians as a fitting symbol of the resurrection of Christ.
